Matt “Ekwa” Stick is a 33 year old artist currently residing in Bixby, Oklahoma. Born on June 27th, 1992 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, he was raised  by parents that nurtured his artistic ambitions,  which led to him deciding to become a career artist at the age of 17.  Working in a variety of mediums and styles, he focuses on realistic portraits, lettering, and graphic design, but is best known for his bold, expressive mixed media paintings. His work is influenced by his Cherokee heritage as well as his history as a graffiti/street artist. Art is his passion and his healing.
